Fishing

Take to the water in a rowing boat with a motor for a relaxing day fishing with up to 3 people. Fishing permits are provided, and rods & tackle can be hired at an extra cost. Please note this activity is not based at the hotel and requires travelling to a separate location. We use an external company for this and pre-booking is required.

Loch Arkaig

• Fly fish for wild brown trout or pike. There are also Ferox trout and Char

• Trout & Char fishing only available during the season from 15th March – 6th October. Pike fishing is all year round, as there is no closed season.

Loch Blar

• Maximum of 4 people, 2 fishing from the shore and 2 from the boat.

• Includes 8x8 Argo trip up and back from the hill loch.

• Fly fish for wild brown trout on this exclusive remote loch

• May-August only due to accessibility

What to bring

• Waterproof/windproof clothing, sun cream and suitable footwear.

• Packed lunch, flask and snacks.

• Cameras, camcorders and lenses, preferably in padded bags.
